ABOUT ME

What's up everybody, I’m Lorenzo Taylor, a U.S. Air Force veteran and cybersecurity professional with 7 years of experience spanning systems administration and security analysis. I have hands-on exposure to enterprise infrastructure, access control, and security operations in highly regulated environments. I'm currently a Senior Information System Security Officer at Obsidian Global, LLC, where I support organizations in implementing secure, scalable security programs. Lately, my focus has been on modern cloud security and identity-driven controls, including identity and access management, risk-based access enforcement, and least-privilege design.

I built this page as part of the Cloud Resume Challenge.

  • Managed identity and access control at scale for 1,200+ users across multi-domain Windows environments, administering AD groups, RBAC, and GPOs to enforce least-privilege access and identity governance aligned with DoD security standards and cloud-ready IAM practices.
  • Automated identity lifecycle and access governance using PowerShell to streamline provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and compliance reporting, cutting onboarding time by 50%, reducing manual oversight by 40%, and improving audit traceability for 100+ mission systems.
  • Strengthened identity security operations and readiness by conducting quarterly entitlement audits, collaborating on STIG/DISA hardening, supporting identity-related incident response and change management, and authoring standardized IAM procedures—reducing privilege-related findings by ~30% and recurring audit issues by 25%.
